Too glam to be forgotten

Image
Life is too short not to celebrate nice moments. So here I am sharing my memorable moments during our That's Amore ball. And the best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it, and indeed I never waste a minute not to seize the moment. Make ups on, elegant gowns and dresses and best suites are worn. You get to have that moment that you're making yourself up more beautiful. That's Amore ball is the most splendid and memorable event in my senior life. Students are dressed up formally, being with their friends and seize the very special time in their senior years. It helps the students learn on how to converse and mingle with people they are acquainted with and the strangers to them in a very formal occasion. The moment I entered the hall, walking in the aisle with my partner on my side felt amazing, people look at you with a smile on their face. It is one of my memorable moments during the event. Messages are given, messages that inspires us to live we...

Memories

Image
No job without experience, no experience without a job. You can't have an experience unless you have a job and you cant have a job without experience. It makes sense after all because as an apprentice I have experienced a lot and also at the same time I learned a lot. Experiences gives us the tests first and the lessons later. Everytime we experience something new, there's always a lesson behind that experience. Looking back on the days as an apprentice, I really gained a lot of lessons. I learned and observed how the life of the teachers goes. They would have their time management for them to equally part their time on the school, students and their family. My supervisor really helped me a lot, with her help who had years of experience in the industry, I felt more confident and supported as I knew my work would be able to be double checked and any uncertainties were explained. It seems like yesterday, my last day has come to it's end. It's time for me to go...

18 things to success

Image
We all have things to learn. Teaching is one of the most awesome, challenging and a rewarding professions you could go into. While being an apprentice, it is a great time to think outside of the box and somehow while doing it you could learn a lot. Here are the 18 awesome things I learned. 1. Find a mentor.           - Each apprentice needs a mentor. A mentor teaches you on how to do things right and well. My mentor has contributed a lot of efforts for me, she teaches me a lot of things and I really learned a lot of important things being a teacher. 2. Show confidence.           - We must show confidence everytime. Confidence is crucial for a great student teaching experience. My first encounter with the students felt awkward and so unsure of myself but with the help of my supervisor, I learned how to keep the worries and show my confidence so no students and any other people could bring you down. 3. If the students a...

My kind of first day

Image
It was an early morning when an excitement grew inside me and made me jump from the bed eventhough I am not feeling well, what was so thrilling and the answer was that it was my very first day on my very first immersion. Working at a place for the first time in life is a great experience for everyone. Whether it an easy or a complicated job, first day at work has contributed some unforgettable memories to everyone especially to me. First day anywhere is very exciting and very awesome. I wore my clean and neat uniform with a perfecting matching tie, fully polished shoes and hair maintained properly. Then I rushed to Nabunturan Central Elementary School SPED Center to start my immersion. The first thing we did when I arrived was to listen to an orientation given by Mrs. Noneza and other school staff. We are acknowledge by all the elementary teachers, after all the orientation we are assigned to each grade level and fortunately I was assigned to Grade 2 level. The moment I walk in ...

Light the way

Light our way as we are about to leave the school to fulfill the task prepared for us. The Department of Education requires all the grade 12 graduating students to have an Immersion for an eighty (80) hours of working as an apprentice on our assigned location. Pre-orientation was conducted it talks about what we need and what should we do when we are about to start our immersion proper. As the program starts the students walks on tha aisle and mind you it feels great, really great, after that we students sits still to listen for all the messages prepared for us to do great in our immersion proper because after all the sacrifices we made we have reach this point, a point in our grade 12 life that could help us to reach our goals. Parents filled the gym with big smiles and overwhelming supports for their child/children. A day like this makes us emotional because I felt like I am a grown up adult taking another step for a brighter future. Joy and happiness was plaster...

Tara na sa Simballay !

Image
Simballay festival is a time of the year that gathers everyone to witness how abundant Nabunturan is. All the efforts to prepare this festival was not wasted because it was a succesful festival to celebrate. The presence of the umbrellas hanging in the middle of the road brought a wonderful view on the streets. Christmas lights and other kinds of lights are shining and shimmering around the streets of Nabunturan. It is a breathtaking view, an explended creation to witness. I thought Nabunturan would not be as crowded as it used to be. Lots of people visited just to witness the essence of beauty of Simballay festival. Different kind of booths presenting every baranggay of Nabunturan also brought another amazing thing to witness. Every booth sell their own food, vegetables, fruits and things that their baranggay was proud and abundant of. This booth captured my eyes, for me it stands out because of its unique design. One of the highlights of Simballay festival was the Iwag ...

This is the day !

Image
A special day has come, the event was dedicated to those parents who sacrifices their life in nurturing ours and their selfless commitment toward us. It is only a simple celebration for them to unwind for all the stress they had encountered, it is a simple yet memorable celebration. It is a day for us to thank our parents. We are so busy growing up, we often couldn't notice all their efforts and sacrifices just to give our needs and wants. Me and my mom celebrated the parents day over the phone because she couldn't go cause she is far away from me, nevertheless what's the use of technology if we wouldn't use it. I called her and say the things I want to say. I told her every little details on how thankful I am that I have a mom like her and also it's like a fire that keeps us close and warm no matter how long we're apart. Our parents deserve honor and respect, sometimes parents don't make their feelings clear, but always do remember they do care and l...
