My kind of first day

It was an early morning when an excitement grew inside me and made me jump from the bed eventhough I am not feeling well, what was so thrilling and the answer was that it was my very first day on my very first immersion.

Working at a place for the first time in life is a great experience for everyone. Whether it an easy or a complicated job, first day at work has contributed some unforgettable memories to everyone especially to me. First day anywhere is very exciting and very awesome. I wore my clean and neat uniform with a perfecting matching tie, fully polished shoes and hair maintained properly. Then I rushed to Nabunturan Central Elementary School SPED Center to start my immersion.

The first thing we did when I arrived was to listen to an orientation given by Mrs. Noneza and other school staff. We are acknowledge by all the elementary teachers, after all the orientation we are assigned to each grade level and fortunately I was assigned to Grade 2 level. The moment I walk in the pathway going to my assigned room was heaven, it feels great hat students will call you "maam" and would pay respect.

As I have arrived at my assigned section all their eyes are on me, it feels awkward and nervous because I really don't know what to do but thanks to my supervisor I survived the awkwardness. My supervisor introduced me to her students and I also introduced my self as an apprentice. After that they rushed into me and hug and welcomed me. I am so happy to have that experience.
I sat and observed for the whole afternoon and for that little amount of time I learned a lot of things.
It was indeed tiring but it's all worth it. I offered to help to clean the room and met my co-workers and share our experiences we laugh together while having our chit chat after that we headed home.

This was my first day, all the excitement and thrill at the school I am immersed on made my day much exciting and memorable.
